Barefoot Proximity, a digital advertising agency, gave this 48-page book to their client, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, to celebrate their mutual success and accomplishments on several projects. During my internship at Barefoot Proximity, I prepared the entire book, which highlights a full year of work and cooperation between the two businesses.
Lumen is Mercyhurst University’s student literary and fine arts magazine. Once a journal for creative writing, Lumen has evolved into an interactive multimedia format combining visual art, music, dance, poetry and fiction. Entirely student produced, Lumen has received many awards for its content and design. This 92-page book design was inspired by the bold and bright patterns from the 70s.
This program flyer was created for the Erie Otters’ OHL Hockey Hooky Day event. Appealing to our target audience (5th graders) and their interest in outer space, my team and I created a play-on-words theme called “Otter Space”. Our goal was to intertwine factual examples to show a relationship between hockey and outer space. This approach was a way not only to excite the students, but to excite them about science. This program was chosen among several competing designs and distributed to thousands of students from the region.
